Elongated Diamond with Cross Stitch Fill 

This is my tester canvas.  This stitch is taken from my newest book, Shapes of Needlepoint, Series II.  I can only imagine all the places this stitch would look great.  I stitched it with a size 8 Kreinik.  Do you like it?

There has been very little stitching around here.  Friday night found me adding the gold to the underskirt.  It is the same stitch as the gray, but upside down.  I like it.

A little on the walls

After Monday's big finish, I went straight back to the Thanksgiving House.  There was not a lot of stitching on Tuesday.  Swan Birthday Party here today.  I had to clean  this mess up.

I spent Sunday afternoon and lunch break on Monday finishing this.  Can you believe it's really done?  I can't!  Off to the finishers.

I met the Swans at The Needle Works today and worked on the Red Magi of my Heartstrings nativity.

Interesting stitch on the underskirt.  You reverse it for the gold.

More bits and bobs on North Pole Village stocking

I stitched the candy cane on the door and the teddy bear in the pack.  I now have the thread to stitch those blank spaces on the wall.  Could this be finished by tomorrow????

North Pole Village Stocking

 This a Rebecca Wood stocking that I purchased from The Needle Works here in Austin.  I sent it to Amy's Golden Strand in Memphis, TN.  Amy wrote a stitch guide for it and I attended Amy's Cooking Up a Canvas class in October of 2010.  I am finishing it this week.  Here are some of the little bits and bobs that needed finishing up.
